Gorman is officially heating up. Not only has he now homered in back-to-back games, but the 21-year-old has also posted three straight multihit performances and is 8-for-14 over that stretch. Gorman went 2-for-3 on Wednesday and hit his fifth homer of the year, a three-run blast, in the third inning. Gorman is hitting .429 (15-for-35) in the month of June and .319 on the year. ), High-A Greensboro
A pair of unearned runs muddied up Priester’s line a bit, but the 20-year-old right-hander threw well in his sixth start of the season. Priester threw 58 of his 89 pitches for strikes and struck out five over 4 2/3 innings. Priester didn’t give up an earned run or a walk, but did surrender six hits. The 2019 first-round pick (18th overall) has pitched to 3.86 ERA this season and held opponents without an earned run in three of his six starts.
