Sabine Schmitz was the face of the Nurburgring for fifteen years, but she was also inseparable from
Top Gear. After news of her passing in March reached the program's producers, they felt that they could do more than air their first episode after the news broke in tribute to her time with and around the program. As a result, they are dedicating a 30-minute special to her legacy.
