After a devastating year for Queensland fisheries that saw the industry almost wiped out with COVID, a Sunshine Coast business has finally received some good news.
Walker Seafoods at Mooloolaba has been named as a state finalist for the fourth time in the annual delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards, which recognise the best and most innovative producers and produce from across Australia in four categories.
Judging everything from crab and cream to beef and berries, the competition named Walker Seafoods state winners for their MSC certified Bigeye tuna, alongside a host of other victors including fresh bamboo shoots from Big Heart Bamboo and fingerlimes from Green Valley Fingerlimes.
