Top Biden national security officials to brief lawmakers on Afghanistan Tuesday

Top officials from the Biden administration's national security team will brief lawmakers from both parties about the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan on Tuesday, sources told CNN.
Secretary of State Tony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley will discuss the situation with members of both the House and Senate.
