Tony Holohan memoir: Former CMO slams coalition's 'meaningful Christmas' over the 1,500 Covid deaths which followed

The Government decision to reopen pubs and restaurants in the run up to Christmas three years ago and the subsequent delay in imposing a lockdown led to many Covid deaths that should have been prevented, the former chief medical officer has claimed.
