Tomah police arrest school employee for sexual assault of a child

TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — The Tomah Police Department reported Wednesday that it arrested an employee of the Tomah Area School District for child sexual assault; however, the assault was not connected to his employment at the school.
According to the department, investigators were notified of allegations of child sexual assault over the weekend. Isaiah S. Pesce, 39, Tomah, was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Monroe County Jail on charges of sexual assault of a child.
During the investigation, officers learned Pesce is employed by the Tomah Area School District as a bus driver. “The allegations which resulted in his arrest were not related to or connected with his employment with the Tomah School District,” according to a statement from the Tomah Police Department.
