Hectic rescue efforts mounted in a village of Amreli district after an 18-month-old girl fell into a 450 ft deep borewell. The girl, Aarohi, daughter of a migrant labourer, was playing with other children on the farm in Suragpura village at around 12.30pm. Oxygen supply started to prevent asphyxiation. Rescue teams using specialized equipment for the operation.
