Sitting at 4-9 in the year and 3-3 in SEC play, we’re way past the point of danger to the Wildcats in their hopes of making it to the NCAA tournament as an overall team. At this point, Kentucky must play near-perfect basketball in the team’s last 12 games of the regular season – 13 if / when the South Carolina game moves – or win the SEC tournament for a chance.
And given the team’s play throughout the season – particularly in each of the team’s last two games – that’s an undeniably big task.
