To escape law, Goa tweaks town & country planning act for land conversions, ET RealEstate

The Goa cabinet has replaced Section 16B of the Town and Country Planning Act with Section 39A. The new section allows the chief town planner to alter the Regional Plan or Outline Development Plan for land conversions.
