New Delhi, May 25 : The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined urgent listing of a bail plea filed by a police officer from Tamil Nadu, who has been chargesheeted by the CBI in the case related to the custodial death of father-son duo Jayaraj-Bennix in June 2020.
A bench comprising Justices Vineet Saran and B.R. Gavai noted that this was a case where a father and his son were brutally "beaten black and blue" to death in custody for merely violating lockdown norms.
