Andhra: YSRCP MLA from Tirupati performs last rites of 21 Covid victims deserted by families
Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy performed the final rites of 21 persons who died of Covid-19.

At a time when stigma prevails over last rites of victims of the novel coronavirus, a Tirupati MLA in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district performed the last rites of Covid-19 patients whose bodies were either left unclaimed or abandoned by the families.
Senior YSR Congress party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy who himself tested positive for Covid-19 twice last year, performed funerals on Wednesday, donning a PPE suit. He conducted the last rights with the help of United Muslim Association.
