LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The man found dead last month inside a home on Brown Street is presumed to be Robert Terrell Ijames, but the coroner's office needs to find family to confirm Ijames' identity, Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said.
Ijames, who went by the name Terry, was 59. He was found dead on July 17 inside 721 Brown St., according to Costelle.
Ijames is white, weighed about 160 pounds and stood about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, according to the coroner's office. His birthday was in May 1962, based on documents found in the apartment.
Ijames might have family in Fort Wayne or somewhere in Alabama, Costello said.
