Tinder profile leads to a remand in custody for Southland man

When asked about having a Tinder profile, Dixon-Heads stated he did not have one. When shown the screenshots he said ‘’I do not know how they got my photos”.
On February 2, Dixon-Heads admitted to having a mobile phone. The phone was unable to be turned on or checked because it had been placed in water at some stage prior to the interview with Community Corrections.
When questioned, Dixon-Heads said he had purchased the phone at Noel Leeming in Gore in mid to late 2020 but could not provide a more specific time frame, the summary of facts says.
Dixon-Heads was remanded in custody and was expected to be sentenced on February 24.
