TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - A Tifton mother continues to grieve her 15-year-old daughter’s death in November.
Sabrina Carter, Autumn Connell’s mother, said her daughter was shot in her head, near the temple.
It’s been almost two months and Sabrina is still shocked and in a state of disbelief.
“I take it minute by minute,” said Sabrina. “I was actually with her approximately 30-38 minutes before the shot was fired. She had a really big light around her. She brought a lot of love to a lot of people. So, she’s gonna be missed. We were very close and it’s been hard on all of us, just being here without her. Trying to learn that new normal.”
