Thursday's letters: Work underway to enhance Gateway Boulevard

In reply to B.D. Willan’s letter of April 27, there is hope for improvement. The Capital Gateway Beautification Foundation was formed by a number of private citizens who share your opinion. The foundation has approval from Alberta Transportation to plant trees and shrubs on 18 sites between the City of Leduc and the Nisku overpass. Our first pilot project was on the west side, just before the turn into the airport. Two additional sites have been planted south of the Airport overpass on the east side of Highway 2.
