Three people killed in I-84 Sturbridge crash involving wrong-way driver identified by authorities

Massachusetts State Police identified the three people killed when a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle in Sturbridge Saturday.
Troopers assigned to the Sturbridge barracks responded to reports of a crash around 6 p.m. on Interstate 84.
A 2009 Nissan Murano was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of I-84 before Exit 6B in Sturbridge before the crash. The Nissan struck a 2011 Volvo XC60 traveling east on the eastbound side
The crash resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of the Nissan, identified as Deyja Jackson, 40, of Worcester, and fatal injuries to the driver and passenger in the Volvo, identified as Irene Karam, 83, of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Patricia Knauer, 62, of Deland, Florida, respectively.
