Three people charged with murder in Houma man’s disappearance
Three people have been charged with murder in the disappearance of Houma man, authorities said.
Shawn Thomas, 30, Tora Melendez, 34, and Jamar Mosely, 32, have each been charged with second-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping, the Houma Police Department said.
They are accused of killing 46-year-old Henry Allridge, who was last seen by family members in east Houma July 2, authorities said.
As the investigation continued, Thomas, Mosely and Melendez were developed as suspects, police said. Detectives believe Allridge’s disappearance resulted from a drug-related argument.
A break in the case occurred when the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office responded Nov. 7 to the 5000 block North Bayou Black Drive after skeletal remains were found, police said.
