TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Three swimmers from the No. 21 Florida State men’s swimming and diving team were selected to the 2022 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships back in Atlanta from March 23-26. Max McCusker earned his third bid, while Yordan Yanchev and Mason Herbet were chosen for their second. “We’re excited for this group going to NCAAs,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “This meet is extremely competitive with the extra class of COVID fifth-years. We’re especially excited to be one of the few schools with five relays in the field.” Max McCusker • Harlow, Essex UK • 50 free 50 free – 19.28, 100 fly – 45.61, 100 free – 42.57 McCusker contributed personal bests at the ACC Championship in all three of his races, finishing 13th in the 50 free (19.48), ninth in the 100 fly (45.61) and 10th in the 100 free (42.57).
