TRAVERSE CITY, MI – With its Celtic décor and the owners’ deep Irish heritage, there’s no doubt you’ll feel a bit of an Old Country welcome when you step inside the tasting room of Rove Estate Vineyard & Winery just west of Traverse City.
But Rove’s nod to the Emerald Isle runs deeper than McKenzie and Creighton Gallagher’s surname or their family history. It’s a loving tribute built into the vineyard itself, and reflected in the geese-in-flight silhouette design on its wine labels. It’s also a philosophy that’s given shape to how this farming family thinks about their business.
