The extraordinary Boat Tail – a retro-styled convertible that will launch a new era of Rolls-Royce cars
These are the first photographs of the extraordinary Boat Tail – a retro-styled convertible that will launch a new era of Rolls-Royce cars, individually coach-built at the company’s headquarters in West Sussex.
Believed to have been commissioned by billionaire rap artist and his equally high profile wife, Boat Tail has no fixed roof. Instead, the luxury limo was purposely designed for the Mediterranean backroads of the Cote d’Azur, when the couple regularly visit on holiday.
The unique four-seater was itself inspired by a one-off, glass-roof design that Rolls-Royce first displayed in 2017, wowing crowds at the glamorous Concorso d'Eleganza event in Italy. Sweptail featured a tapered rear-end and provoked a rash of interest from prospective buyers looking for a bespoke Rolls of their own.
