The Woman
in the Window, starring Amy Adams in the lead role as Dr Anna Fox, is currently
streaming on Netflix.
The film is
based on the 2018 novel of the same name by AJ Finn (real name Daniel Mallory),
and follows Dr Anna, who suffers from agoraphobia, as she begins to spy on her
neighbours. One day she witnesses a crime, but there’s very little she can do
while stuck in her home. This triggers a series of events that reveals a
traumatic event in Anna’s past as more secrets come to light.
