Assault, thefts and business failings: The Winchester people dealt with elsewhere in June
THE
Chronicle regularly reports on Winchester residents dealt with at the local courts, but these four men were sentenced elsewhere last month.
From thefts, speeding and even failing to deliver a firm’s accounts, these people were dealt with at other courts around the country in June.
Under UK law, matters come before the courts where the allegation is said to have taken place, rather than where an accused person lives.
For example a person is caught speeding in a given area, it will be dealt with at the nearest possible court.
