The surge in post-natal depression is no surprise with the appalling way women have been treated during lockdown
When a baby's appointment is not a priority for the GP, you have to question what has become of this country's medical ethics

One sunny afternoon not so long ago, my young son’s world became suddenly much bigger. I and two of my oldest friends sat down together in a garden and placed our three baby boys together on the playmat. Up until that moment I’m not sure my son even knew other babies existed. It was a joyous moment as the babies reached out chubby hands to touch each other, examined their peers’ toys and pulled faces at each other. It marked a milestone for both me and my baby, as despite him being seven months old at the time, it was one of the first times in his life that we had been legally permitted the simple pleasure of socialising with other mums and babies.
