I’ve said this many times before in places, my son died of cancer at 11 years, 11 months. He requested a ‘Viking shaped ‘ coffin. My Dads side were from the Scots Norse. His mum wanted an angel type prow with wings so that was what I carved. Spent a week on it. Carving my own kids coffin. Didn’t want to stay at home so my friend had me over at his place to carve it. He had a garage and that was sufficient.

Staring out into the nights sky, taking it all in, the moon was ‘half’ or ‘three quarters’ , approx to the Nth/east at lower than 45 degrees…to the east, was a large bright white /sliver light with halo effect around it at 45 degrees. Thought possibly Venus.
