A bot, which is a short form for a robot, is a software program intended to perform automated tasks on your website. The automated functions are supposed to run repetitively without being interrupted. In the internet traffic, in every five website requests, one is a bad bot. There are bad bots and good bots, and the difference is what effect they have on your website. Bad bots are a security threat to your website. They perform malicious tasks and allow attackers to take control of the activities in your computer remotely. When bad bots infect the devices, the devices become zombies.
