While Thanksgiving has come and gone, the holiday season doesn’t stop as December brings a time of festivity and joy. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is back in Young County as the organization works to collect and distribute toys as Christmas gifts for less fortunate children in the community. The campaign runs from approximately the beginning of November up until about a week before Christmas. Toy donation boxes are set up at multiple locations throughout the county so people can drop off new, unwrapped toys.
