GCC Board of Trustees votes, recommends Salomon-Fernandez unanimously as new president

GREENFIELD — Signaling a desire to build on what Robert L. Pura has created at the Greenfield Community College over the last 18 years, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted for Yves Salomon-Fernandez to become the college’s next president.
Salomon-Fernandez will be the first woman of color to lead the college and will be the first female president since Katherine Sloan in the 1990s.
