Arriving on the eve of a working visit to Lebap province, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held an extended enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the Ruhiyet Palace, where some issues of state life were discussed.
Initially, the Speaker of the Parliament G. Mammadov briefed on the activities of the National Parliament on the further modernization of the country's legal and legal framework, which is being carried out in the context of the socially-oriented policy being implemented under the leadership of the Head of State, as well as on the explanatory and explanatory work.
Based on the proposals received from the Cabinet of Ministers, industry ministries and departments, the main directions of the further legislative activity of the Mejlis are determined. The working plan envisages improvement of the legislation in the field of protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, strengthening of law and order, increase of social and living standard of the population.
