The Pink Pamper distributed gifts for children whose mothers are being treated for cancer and cannot afford gifts at Hanukkah or Christmas Sunday afternoon.The drive-thru distribution was held at the Crowne Plaza Suites Pittsburgh South in Bethel Park.Called, Getting Involved for Women in Treatment program or G.I.F.T., volunteers raise the money and purchase the gifts with a list provided by families. The group also provides families with a $100 Aldi gift card to help with their holiday dinner."I, personally, am not a breast cancer survivor, but I feel for all our ladies who are sick and have children, and I want to help. This is my way of giving back," said Marian Geisler, president of The Pink Pamper. Sunday marked the fifth year of the G.I.F.T program. This year, the group was able to provide gifts for a total of 72 children across 30 families.
