The Olympic Games have produced some of the finest sports memorabilia over the decades. Some objects are surprisingly common and, as a result, aren't worth a great deal – but they still have plenty of aesthetic and sentimental value to fans of the Games. However, others can fetch hundreds of thousands of pounds at auction. 
Olympic torches 
The iconic torch has been a centrepiece of the Olympics since the 1928 Amsterdam Games. 
This year's torch is currently touring around Tokyo before heading to the opening ceremony on Friday. The number of torches made for each Games varies wildly – as does their value as a result.
