Some National Guard members and publicly contracted relief workers tasked with caring for people who sought asylum in New York stand accused instead of sexually exploiting migrant women and children, violently assaulting at least one shelter guest and generally placing the newcomers into decrepit conditions, according to a federal lawsuit filed this month.
