SAN DIEGO —
The ‘May gray’ clouds that extended from the coast to the mountains Sunday in San Diego County will be mostly gone by early Monday, just as another spell of unseasonably warm weather is about to begin.
The marine layer was thick enough to produce brief showers Sunday in places like Miramar Lake, which got 0.10 inch of precipitation. Light rain also fell during the Padres home game against San Francisco. But incoming high pressure will dry things out.
San Diego’s high temperature is expected to hit 65 on Monday, about a degree below average. But it should be 72 on Tuesday, 74 on Wednesday and 76 on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Rancho Bernardo.
