The big picture: The League of Legends World Championship is returning to China for the second year in a row as developer Riot Games recently announced that the 2021 finals will be held as an in-person event later this year. The gaming extravaganza is scheduled to kick off on November 6 from the Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen. The 60,334-capacity stadium typically plays host to the Shenzhen Football Club, which competes in the Chinese Super League.
