The forgotten soldier and George Crawford's partner responsible for starting Grand Junction

Captain Richard Mobley and George Crawford built Grand Junction to be the "diamond in the desert", the rest stop between Salt Lake and Denver. George Crawford has a life-size statue, yet Mobley only has a headstone not even up to the knee. A local group is raising money for Mobley to get the monument he deserves.
