A resident of Khalsa Rd in Nasinu was injured after two men broke into his family home yesterday.
This, according to the Fiji Police Force, adding the two men forcefully entered the house and stole assorted items.
“In the process, they injured a family member before fleeing the scene,” according to police.
Police received the first report at around 4am and a team from Valelevu Police Station managed to track down one of the suspects who was later arrested in Newtown, while the search continues for the second suspect.
In a separate incident, a man was taken into police custody for his alleged involvement in an attempted robbery in Caubati.
