Stonington -- Residents will go to the polls Tuesday to vote on the proposed $73.1 million budget and its 0.49-mill tax rate increase.
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: District 1 and 3, borough firehouse; District 2, former Pawcatuck Middle School and Districts 4 and 5, B.F. Hoxie Engine Co. firehouse.
The results of the referendum will be announced about 8:30 p.m., when the town resumes its budget town meeting virtually. Information on how to access the virtual meeting can be found at www.stonington-ct.gov/calendar.
