In my humble opinion, the full-page advertisements encouraging The Day subscribers to follow “The Todt Family’s” pain, dismiss factual news and all editorial integrity.
Having delivered The New London Day for 13 years as a young boy and subscribing to the paper, as well as purchasing the newspaper throughout most of my adult life — I regret the editorial decision to promote “a true crime podcast…a seemingly perfect family from Connecticut…as the subject of a grisly tabloid murder case.”
I remember when there was a “Neighbors” section featuring all good news. How about “good news” selling newspapers?
