Norwich — The Shop Local outdoor holiday market in downtown Norwich on Saturday will move to the Market Street parking garage to avoid the threat of rain.
The vendor fair will run from noon to 4 p.m. and will include vendors from a second planned outdoor vendor fair at the Norwich Little League field. The market, sponsored by the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, will feature dozens of craft vendors, small businesses and downtown merchants.
The chamber also is encouraging shoppers to visit downtown restaurants that will be open Saturday.
The chamber’s planned ribbon-cutting ceremony at Creative Design Group at 30 Franklin St. will take place as scheduled at 11:30 a.m. in a tent outside the business.
