Will people need to wear a mask at the Champlain Valley Fair?
By August, Vermont is expected to have entered a reopening phase where masks are recommended, but not required by the state, according to Gov. Phil Scott's Vermont Forward Plan.
This means the fair will also not be requiring mask use under that plan. However, mask use will still be welcome.
“The safety of our fairgoers, volunteers, and staff is paramount," Bartley wrote in his statement. "All state, federal, and CDC guidelines will be followed. However, thanks to Governor Phil Scott, Health Commissioner Mark Levine, and the overwhelming number of Vermonters who will be vaccinated, we will be opening our gates with no restrictions."
