Gary Burton's three decades of coaching excellence -- along with his status as a Chico State Sports Hall of Famer in both football and track -- made him an easy choice for the Chico Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024. He'll be honored at the Enterprise-Record's 49th annual Chico Sports Hall of Fame and Senior Athletes Banquet at the Elks Lodge on May 21.
