As most Boltonians prepare to take their Christmas decorations down as we head into a new year some are just beginning their preparations.
Bolton's Ukranian community is gearing up to celebrate Christmas on January 7, as they do every year, albeit in a different way with coronavirus restrictions in place this year.
Under tier 4 restrictions people are still able to attend places of worship for a service, but must not "mingle" with anyone outside their household or support bubble and maintain social distancing at all times.
This means that the All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Church on All Saints' Street will still be able to celebrate Christmas in the traditional way, on January 7, with a service.
