The Beat Goes On
The Marion Cultural Alliance, in partnership with the City of Ocala Municipal Government’s Ocala Cultural Arts, is excited to unveil the full lineup for the 2021 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series. The series is sponsored in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a national funder of creative placemaking that empowers communities to inject new life into underused public spaces. Through free, outdoor concerts, the Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will present 10 free, family-friendly concerts to the public this summer.
The Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will take place at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Complex located at 1510 NW Fourth St. Concerts will take place every Friday, April 16 through June 25 (excluding May 28), 7-9pm. The June 25 grand finale will feature an extended performance, 6-9pm, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission. Admission is free, and the public is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the concerts. The lawn will be transformed into socially distanced seating circles for families to enjoy the concert in safety.
