The Bay viewers disappointed with series 2 finale

The Bay series 2 spoilers follow.
The Bay series 2 came to an end tonight (February 24) on ITV, bringing to an end the investigation after weeks of clues and dead ends and drama.
Before the opening titles even rolled, we learned that Stephen Marshbrook was killed by Victor because he was hired to do so.
Shortly after, Frank Mercer was arrested on suspicion of placing the hit, while Grace was brought in for questioning too. Grace admitted to hating him because of his overly-controlling nature, but said she never wanted him dead.

Wife Rose admitted to stealing money from the company, and to having an affair with Frank, but said she didn't conspire to have him killed either.
