The Auckland City Mission is working hard to ensure it is
providing its ever-increasing foodbank client base with the
best possible nutrition and believes this is a social issue
for all New Zealanders to rally behind.
The Mission
has long been committed to offering a balanced food parcel
but after recent reviews, realised there was room for
improvement.
“Although we have always provided a
range of grocery items, we realised recently that we need to
significantly increase the protein (meat and dairy) in our
