The art of fine-tuning

Music knows no boundaries, and manufacturing quality musical instruments to bring it to life is an art in itself.
An artist in this vein, Pune-based
Mohammad Mustafa Mirajkar has been making musical instruments for almost four decades at his small shop in
Budhwar Peth.
An artiste always relies on a custom-made instrument as per his demands, requirements, and specifications — and that is where Mirajkar has carved a niche for himself. Mirajkar’s specialty is to make
string instruments like the
mandolin or guitar, which do not have their origins in India. He takes pride in the fact that he has rendered his services to many well-known artistes.
