To the editor:
Pine Island Elementary received another $200 check from the DAR. The donation will be utilized to purchase new books for the media center.
As principal, I’m humbled that organizations like DAR support our local communities, especially Pine Island Elementary School. The money will be put to good use as it will be allocated to purchase books that will go directly into the hands of our students.
I am so grateful that DAR has continued to support our efforts to enrich the students of Pine Island.
