The volunteers of an

Thane in order to lodge their protest against dumping of garbage, cutting mangroves for waterfront development, and protecting the fragile eco-systems.
'Clean the Creek' initiative has been launched by the Muse Foundation, Kolshet Gaav Utkarsh Samajik Sanstha, and Thane City Gaavthaan Koliwade Paade Sanvardhan Samiti to protest against the inaction of
Thane Municipal Corporation (
waste management, and to engage with the creek and those living in the surroundings.
