Texas man sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for conspiracy to obstruct Congress, other charges from Jan. 6 Capitol breach

A Texas man, formerly of California, was sentenced recently in the District of Columbia after he was convicted of four felonies as a result of his conduct during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
