Texas convicted murderer lands on US Marshals Most Wanted list

TEXAS, USA — The U.S. Marshals intensified their search for a convicted murderer who escaped from a Texas prison in 2010.
Jose Bustos-Diaz, 32, has landed on the Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted fugitives list, and authorities are asking the public for information that could lead to his arrest.
“Jose Bustos-Diaz poses a significant threat to the public as a fugitive who was convicted for murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison in a court of law,” said U.S. Marshals Service Director Donald Washington. “We added Bustos-Diaz to our 15 Most Wanted fugitive list because locating and apprehending this violent escapee is a top priority, and we will use every available resource to bring him to justice.”
