TESDA Spokesperson and Deputy Director General Lina Sarmiento revealed that they are adding another button to their TESDA app for displaced workers.
“On May 1, we will include our displaced workers in the TESDA app. We will have a new button there for displaced workers so it will be easier for them to enroll in the TESDA programs,” she said in a virtual presser on Friday, April 23.
Sarmiento said they are hoping to train more learners this year.
“Based on the budget given to us for this year, we can train 358,000 learners. We know this is a big help because we know many lost their jobs because many businesses closed,” she said.
